Prospectus
At Trade Show Pro’s (TSP) our product is sales expertise.
We are a group of semi-retired successful sales people who still love the thrill and art of selling. We have always appreciated trade shows for the simple fact that they can yield new business opportunities. We embrace the opportunity to mass introduce great new items, can add potential new customers and deliver volume.
So how does TSP actually work a show? We do this in a collaborative effort as prescribed by the manufacturer. We can:
Remain in the booth manage samples, keeping booth clean, generally keeping your sales team on the floor!
Sell products; features, quote pricing, show deals, and articulate margins. We only hire people who have the ability to sell product; stand out in an aisle, greet retailers and get them into the booth to show your products. That is a minimum expectation you should have of any TSP employee.
Our Fees & Costs
Show Set-Up Fee: $250
Travel Expenses: lodging and airfare are billed at actual cost
Billable Hours: $45/hour per team member hired
Vehicle Mileage Rate: Government Mileage rate
Travel Meals and Incidentals: $50.00 per diem per team member (if needed)
Our set up fee includes all the advance preparation preferably with your assigned company sales representative, to ensure a “show ready” booth.
We ask the manufacturer to provide us ANY information we can review in advance of the show to help us to prepare. If necessary, we are available for pre-show virtual calls.
At the conclusion of the show a detailed report is produced for the manufacturer providing any information you need to determine success of the show. Information like; What did we see? What were the best leads? What did the customers love? What did they not? Any competitive notes we came up with? Lastly, point out the small chains that often appear annually and then vanish into the night.
The billable hours include only the time spent at the show: Booth set up; actual show time hours; breakdown.
Our “Letter of Engagement” will outline our estimated costs for each show in advance.
The customer will receive an online invoice within seven days of the close of the show. This will be supported by detailed expense reports with receipts.
A few of the key reasons why you should consider using TSP.
First, we are dedicated to your line and nothing else while many of the broker sales representatives at the show are worrying about multiple lines thus limiting your lines potential success.
Generally, the manufacturer’s territory representative is at the show, but very often the manager is there as well. So, show expense goes up, emails are missed and there are two people now out of the territory.
We believe there is definite value in experienced outside sales representatives. We strive to set a good example with our enthusiasm, professionalism, effort, and closing skills.
